§ Privacy

Audit data is the most sensitive data your firm holds. It should not live on someone else’s server.

AuditAssist stores everything in an embedded SurrealDB at ~/Library/.../auditassist.db. No upload step. No background sync. No telemetry unless you opt in. When you do want collaboration, point it at your own SurrealDB instance — your data, your network.
